I'm still working hard with Zane Robertson on Lucid Fate (specifically, the music, sprite editing, and typography). However, within the last couple of weeks, Zane informed me that the game was going to take a drastic change in direction from it's original format, which I was not happy about. Normally when I'm just a hired hand on a project, I keep my mouth shut and just do what the director tells me to do, but this time I felt like I really should add my two cents...whether or not my input had any real impact, I'm not sure, but Zane decided to purchase a new engine for Game Maker to help along with the platforming. This engine comes with a several elements we previously had to omit from the game for being outside our realm of ability, which brings promising opportunities to our development journey.
I would also like to announce that since my Patreon pledges have doubled, I will be stocking up now on artist essentials - I'm beginning to run out of sketchbook space!
I am also considering translating my existing archive of web comics into Spanish, to see if there is a market for them in another language. 2016 is quite exciting thus far!
