I decided to take a short sabbatical that turned into a few months, which I apologize for. I've been continuing to work on some special projects, one of which is the final draft of my NaNoWriMo novel from last year. I also had to replace my hard drive again – it has only been about a week, but so far, it seems to be working out well. I have a terabyte of space now, which gives me plenty of room tow save high-res versions of my projects.
I wish I could say I've been busy with artwork the entire time, but the truth is much less flattering – I've been dealing with some grief over a major life change, part of which has resulted in the loss of someone very important to me. For a while, I thought alcohol would help numb the pain, but it only messed up my immune system and made it hard to keep in touch with friends, family, and reality. It could be worse, but my habit of getting inside my own head doesn't help the situation.
In the meantime, I'll try to post more art on my social media pages, whether it's comic-related or not, just to stay active. I look forward to finishing my next big project!
