I've mentioned it on Facebook and Twitter already, but I'm going to mention it again here on the main site: come November, I'm going to be participating in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). My entry is actually going to be a novelization of one of my graphic novel ideas - one I started circa 2008 (which, ironically, started out as a short story idea) that I've put on the back-burner for the last several years or so. NaNoWriMo doesn't officially start till November 1st, but I've already entered my story info here. If I actually manage to finish this story, I'll publish and sell it, hopefully to favorable reviews.
Speaking of publishing, I'm thinking of putting my collection of internet comics into a printed compilation - or more specifically, I'm thinking of publishing several compilations of comics based on subject matter. For example, I'll put together a collection of "Chocolate the Cat" comics (which I suspect will be the most popular), a collection of comics featuring my take on relationships/social justice/family...all sorts of stuff. Right now, the webcomics are just one big "archive" of stuff that pops into my head to keep me active as a writer/artist, but the printed material will be more audience-specific. After all, The Great S.E. Comics is supposed to be a little something for everyone.
Till next time,
Sarah Elaine
